Did anyone happen to read The
Houston Chronicle’s Business Section on January 17, 2026, their article titled,
“’Massive’ oil, gas reserves found – Enough to supply U.S. for 10 months found
in Permian”? In the article, it goes on
to speak on how the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) on Wednesday, January 14, announced
they have found over 28 trillion cubic feet of gas and 1.6 billion barrels of
oil reserves in the Woodford and Barnett shale formations which are part of the
Permian Basin. Wow, isn’t this good news!
