Venture Global LNG Inc. is one step closer to commercial operations.

Happy Monday!  Welcome back to another week of ESC News Blog!

Did anyone happen to read the Oil & Gas Journal’s Daily Update Newsletter on December 27, 2024, their article titled, “Venture Global ships first cargo from Plaquemine LNG”?  In the article, it speaks on Venture Global LNG Inc. and its much-anticipated plant in Port Sulphur, Louisiana.  Venture Global has finally completed its first commissioned cargo which is bound for Germany from their Plaquemines LNG plant, and it’s now one step closer to commercial operations.  They loaded one of their newly acquired LNG tanker’s “Venture Bayou” which is one of nine LNG carriers they acquired in the Spring.  Venture Global acquired the LNG tankers from three South Korean shipyards and expect delivery through the year 2026.  “Venture Bayou” is one of six 174,000-cu m LNG tankers, and they are expecting three 200,000-cu m LNG tankers.  Plaquemine LNG plant will continue being built while they are exporting LNG from the plant.  We wish Venture Global LNG Inc. luck in their completion of the plant.  If you would like to read more of the Oil & Gas Journal’s article, please click the link:   Venture Global ships first cargo from Plaquemines LNG | Oil & Gas Journal.
