The Corpus Christi Port Commission has a new leader and new members!

Happy Thursday!

Did anyone see the Port of Corpus Christi Press Release on January 22, 2026, it was titled, “Port of Corpus Christi Commission Names New Officers, Welcomes New Commissioners Sworn in by Nueces County Judge”?  In the press release, they speak of the happenings at the recent January Commission meeting.  The meeting was held at the Congressman Solomon P. Ortiz International Center which has finally finished its revamp and is ready for business.  The business which transpired during the meeting was Commissioner Gabe Guerra was appointed the Chairman of the Port Commission, Commissioner Wes Hoskins again was appointed Vice Chairman, and Commissioner Rajan Ahuja was appointed Secretary.  Two new Port Commissioners joined the Port Commission Michael Hunter and Amanda Torres, and they were sworn in earlier in January by Honorable Connie Scott of Nueces County.  We wish the Port of Corpus Christi and its Port Commission much continued success!  If you would like to read more of the Port of Corpus Christi’s announcement, please click the link: Port of Corpus Christi Commission Names New Officers, Welcomes New Commissioners Sworn in by Nueces County Judge - Port of Corpus Christi Port of Corpus Christi.
