Well, we received another update
from the U.S Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) with some more
information for the BBG1, and it looks like the BOEM is all in on this lease
sale. The sealed bids deadline was
earlier today!
Did anyone happen
to receive the News Release from the Bureau of Ocean Energy
Management (BOEM) on December 9, 2025, their News Release titled, “BOEM
to Host Press Conference Following Big Beautiful Gulf 1 Lease Sale”? In the release, it speaks on how Department
of Interior’s Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) under the direction
of One Big Beautiful Bill Act (BBBA) (H.R.1) and the first sales deadline for
sealed bids was earlier today, and it appears after there will be a press conference
by RSVP only. BOEM has issued the notice for the Gulf of America BBG1 in the
Federal Register on November 10, 2025, and tomorrow we will find out the results. The Oil and Gas Lease Sale (BBG1) will be live at 9 a.m. on December 10, 2025. For the media there will be a Q&A session
from the BOEM starting at 11:15 a.m. We’ll
let you know, if we hear any additional information on the first Gulf oil and
