Happy Monday! We hope you had a nice weekend! I guess, Summer has decided to return to the area.
Did anyone happen to read the
Oil & Gas Journal’s Daily Update Newsletter on September 13, 2024, they
had an article titled, “FERC gives Eagle LNG 5 more years to place Florida LNG
plant into operation.” The article is on
how the US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) approved a 5-year extension
last week for Eagle LNG Partners LNG project near Jacksonville, Florida. Eagle
LNG plant has expected processing of up to 1.65 million gallons per day (gpd)
and will be storing of 12 million gallons of LNG on 194 acres and was approved
in September 2019 and was expected to be processing in September 2024. The
small LNG plant has cost Eagle LNG approximately $83 million to purchase
the property, taxes, and various consulting fees. The plant will take between 2 to 3 years to build,
nonetheless they have not made a final investment decision. The new date is September 18, 2029 for processing
of LNG for the locals as well as some of it will be exported. This is good news for the LNG industry. If you would like more information on this
