Did anyone
happen to read the Oil & Gas Journal’s Daily Update Newsletter on January
29, 2024, their article titled, “New Fortress Energy receives customs ruling
for Altamira FLNG plant”? In the
article, it spoke on the subject of New Fortress Energy Inc.’s floating natural gas liquefaction plant which is
known as FLNG1 who is off the coast of Altamira, Mexico has been approved by US
Customs and Border Protection (USCBP) to sell its product to the US and its
territories. The issue at hand was the Jones Act and USCBP found
the non-US qualified vessels New Fortress uses did not defy its rule. If you would like to read more of the Oil
