Happy Monday! Welcome to another week of ESC News Blog! It was another beautiful sunny day in the city and a welcome site, after the cold of last week!
We would like to say,” Welcome aboard
the newly appointed and reappointed Commissioners for the Port of Corpus
Christi Commission: Michael Pedrotti, Tony LaMantia, and Rajan Ahuja! We would
like to congratulate David Engel for being named the new Chairman of the Port Commission!”
Did anyone hear
that the Port of Corpus Christi announced on January 16, 2024, the swearing in their
new and reappointed commissioners who will serve a three-year term happened at
the Port Commission’s January Meeting as well as executive’s positions were
elected for the upcoming year. At the
meeting, Nueces County Judge, Honor. Connie Scott gave the oath to Michael Pedrotti,
Tony LaMantia who are newly appointed onto the Port of Corpus Cristi Commission,
and Commissioner Rajan Ahuja was reappointed for another term.
At the January
Port Commission meeting, the executive positions were elected for 2024. Commissioner David Engel was voted in as the new
Chairman, Commissioner Wes Hoskins was elected as the Vice-chair, and Commissioner
Gabe Guerra was elected as the Secretary.
We wish the new members and the new executives of the Port Commission a
fruitful year and the continued success of their Corpus Christi Channel Improvement Project (CIP). If you
