Did anyone
happen to hear Governor Abbott appointed Sharon Hulgan to the Gulf Coast Protection
District’s (GCPD) Board of Directors earlier this month to represent industry? Ms. Hulgan will be taking the place of
Michael VanDerSnick who resigned from his governor appointed position at the
end of 2023 and his term wasn’t due to expire until June 2025. Ms. Hugan will have the same term expiration
of her predecessor June 16, 2025. We
wish her luck in her new position. If you
