The Greater Houston Port Bureau has announced the new Board of Directors and Board Members for 2024.

Happy Thursday!  We are almost done for the week!

Did anyone see the Greater Houston Port Bureau’s (GHPB) Newsletter on December 14, 2023, their announcement titled, “Greater Houston Port Bureau Announces Vincent DiCosimo as 2024 Board Chairman”?   The announcement is in regard to the change of Board members for the GHPB.  Vincent DiCosimo of Targa Resources was made the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the GHPB effective January 1, 2024.  He has been an active member of the Board of Directors, and previously was the 1st Vice Chairman.  Mr. DiCosimo will be the leading the Board into the future with Project 11 and Project 12 underway and on their way to completion.  It will be exciting on see what he will help accomplish in new role for the area ports.

Other members of the 2024 GHPB Board of Directors were announced.  The Directors will be 1st Vice Chairman will be Kirk Jackson of Suderman & Young Towing Co., 2nd Vice Chairman will be John Schlosser of Kinder Morgan Terminals, and Secretary-Treasurer will be John Sulivan of Callan Marine.  These gentlemen will help lead the GHPB into the future.

Some new faces will be active members on the 2024 Board for the GHPB which include: Tim Berry of ExxonMobil Baytown, Captain Mark Saunders of Galveston-Texas City Pilots, Maria Ciliberti of Vopak Americas, Ariana Almaguer of Amery Bank, and Andrew Black of Moran Shipping Agencies.  They will be helping the Board of Directors and the President of the GHPB, Captain Eric Carrero at moving the Port Bureau into the future!
