Happy Tuesday!
Did anyone happen
to see the newsletter from ILTA News, October
4, 2023, they had a press release from the Vopak titled, “Vopak repurposed
existing infrastructure to support energy transition in California”? The press release
goes on to speak about how Vopak modified 22 tanks at Vopak’s Los Angeles Terminal in California to hold Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF)
and renewable biodiesel. The tanks can
hold about 39 million gallons. Vopak is
trying to help with the transition to renewable fuels by modifying tanks for
the “What’s next!” in liquids. Vopak is
helping with sustainable fuel and feedstocks by being willing to modify to
help its customers and the environment by investing in infrastructure to the
tune of more than $31 million this year to change existing tanks. They have announced they will be investing over
$1 billion over the next 7 years into growth capital to aid emerging energies
and renewable products. If you would
