Did anyone read The
Houston Chronicle on Tuesday, March 28, 2023? They had an article called, “Safety advised for a busy weekend of events.” It is about the circus (traffic) we’re going
to have for this weekend through April 4th, 2023 and how to stay
safe. The city has the Men’s Final Four at NRG Stadium, March Madness Festival at Discovery Green (downtown), The Men’s Final Four Fan Fest at George R. Brown Convention Center (downtown),
the Houston Astros opening weekend (downtown) and home games for the Houston Rockets (Downtown) all this weekend. Wow 4 big events in such a short window of
time! The City is advising, if you don’t
need to drive in the Downtown and NRG areas of town don’t! They have several streets downtown closed
for the festivities especially by Discovery
Green and George R. Brown Convention

March Madness events
at Discovery Green starting this
Friday you will be able to ride the MetroRail
for free through April 3, 2023. You need
to register for tickets ahead of time for concerts at Discovery Green there is a limit of 22,000 people. Please click the link for Discovery Green to check see all the happenings!
Men’s Final Four will have Fan
Fest activities at George R. Brown
Convention Center, too. As well as
the games at NRG Stadium.
We should not forget it is opening weekend for baseball
season and our own Houston Astros
will be taking on the Chicago White Sox all weekend. Also your own Houston Rockets have games at home, too. WOW a lot going on this
